    ▼ Backstory
Ethel came from tough beginnings in the streets of Liberty City but moved to Los Santos at 16 with the determination to have more out of life than what she had known. Obtaining her GED at just 16 years old was a testament to her determination and drive. The Coast Guard became the solution for her to create a better life, leading her to enlist at 17.

Ethel's Coast Guard membership taught her skills that would be advantageous in the future. She was praised by her superiors for her dedicated work ethic and expertise in navigation. Ethel decided on a change after serving for a while. Being in nature had always been called to her, and she felt that serving as a San Andreas State Park Ranger would suit her ideally. She applied for a position.

Ethel has a strong work ethic, is determined, and can remain calm in high-pressure situations. Quick at grasping new ideas, she's constantly seeking means to upgrade herself. Working with others comes easily to her as she is a team player. Ethel, conversely, tends to be headstrong and carries excess responsibility as a drawback. Her drive for perfection can sometimes leave her feeling overwhelmed. Her perfectionism can become overwhelming. She takes her time trusting others, which can impede the formation of deep connections. Despite her flaws, Ethel is excited to start her new career as a San Andreas State Park Ranger. She is committed to making a beneficial influence and employing her talents and understanding to defend and conserve the untouched splendor of her new abode in the San Andreas region.

Always forward-thinking and determined to build the stable life she lacked growing up, Ethel focused heavily on her financial security during this time, diligently funneling a portion of every paycheck into index funds and long-term investments.

    Military Career.

Following her graduation from the Operations Specialist "A" Rated School, she embarked on a dynamic military career that was highlighted by her deployment on the Legend Class Cutter, USCGC Munro (WMSL-755) for a period of three months. While on this assignment, she obtained valuable experience and sharpened her communication, navigation, and classified information handling skills while using the latest software employed by the U.S. Coast Guard in its search and rescue missions. Her next posting was at the Los Santos Base in Long Beach where she put her training and experience to work in support of the Coast Guard's crucial mission after being deployed from USCGC Munro. Playing a pivotal role as an Operations Specialist, she successfully oversaw search and rescue efforts, tracked vessel traffic, and offered indispensable support to other Coast Guard teams. Throughout her military career, she demonstrated an unwavering commitment to the service, always ready to serve her country with honor and distinction.

One evening, close to the end of her contract, she had an event that made her take the decision to not renew the contract with the U.S. Coast Guard. After leaving the US Coast Guard as an E-4, she yearned for a more peaceful existence away from the bustle of the city. With that in mind, she sought refuge in the countryside.

    Law Enforcement Career

Ethel transitioned seamlessly from military service to law enforcement, graduating from the POST Academy at the age of 22 and officially wearing the badge as a Cadet with the San Andreas State Parks. This step marked the beginning of a dedicated three-year long period as a Patrol Ranger, where she was tasked with safeguarding the sprawling state parks and the rugged expanses of Sandy Shores and Paleto Bay. Her time in the countryside proved to be far more active than a simple escape from city life; she frequently operated on the front lines of high-stakes law enforcement. Ethel participated in inter-agency raids alongside the Los Santos County Sheriff's Department and the San Andreas Highway Patrol to dismantle narcotics operations. Her resilience and ability to remain calm under pressure were truly tested during a high-stress confrontation on Mount Gordo. Faced with an immediate, life-threatening situation when a suspect pointed a shotgun directly at her, Ethel was forced to navigate her first Ranger-Involved Shooting. Throughout these intense experiences, she proved herself to be a reliable team player who could handle the heavy responsibilities of rural policing..

    San Fire Career

Seeking to further elevate her professional standing and refine her skillset, Ethel eventually negotiated a lateral transfer to the San Andreas Office of State Fire Marshals, stepping into the specialized role of Fire Marshal. The transition was a calculated move driven by better compensation and a desire for highly targeted expertise. As a Fire Marshal, Ethel channeled her discipline into robust community policing initiatives. She became a familiar face to the public, organizing community hikes and actively educating citizens on wildfire prevention, trail safety, and environmental conservation.

However, her trajectory took an unexpected turn in the summer of 2026 when severe budget cuts forced San Fire to downsize, resulting in Ethel being laid off. Resourceful and unwilling to let adversity stall her drive, she recognized the setback as an opportunity for a fresh start. Ready to face the urban grind once more, Ethel packed her bags and set her sights on the Los Santos Police Department, prepared to bring her community experience back into the heart of the city.

Here you can find a link to her diary. This is incomplete but I plan to update it in the future.

Kind regards Ethel. After reviewing your application our team has decided to place it on PENDING Reason behind this is that you don't have a valid Class B license which would further prevent you from operating most of the vehicle fleet. Pelase let us know once you have obtained the said license and we will review your application again.
